As the name indicates, the focus of Shell & Tube Professionals is on shell and tube heat exchangers, with a concentration on air conditioning and refrigeration, and cooling and freezing applications.

When the well-known Helpman Shell and Tube Products Company closed in 2006, Willem Engberts and Piet van der Scheer founded a new, independent company, Shell and Tube Professionals, to meet the demands of the shell and tube customers formally served by Helpman.

At its inception, Shell & Tube Professionals functioned primarily for service and repair, answering the large industry demand for retubing. Later, our company expanded its services to include inspection and consultation. The most recent addition to our service offerings is the production of new shell and tube heat exchangers.

Presently, our central focus is water cooled condensers and flooded evaporators for sea water, fresh water, and brine applications. We are experts with all the possible material combinations.
